A new bicycle shop and repair centre opened last weekend in Chilton which promises to offer an unrivalled cycle repair service including full bike repairs to all makes, powder coating of frames as well as anodising and chrome plating renewal.
A ‘box supplied’ bike assembly service is also available as well as safety checks to new builds and a selection of service plans from £25 (quotes will be supplied for parts before the work is carried out).
The shop will carry a comprehensive range of parts from major manufacturers and suppliers including wheels, tyres, chains etc. On display will be a range of child and adult cycles as well as a selection of road and race bikes for the more discerning rider. Aycliffe residents, Paul Whiting, the owner, and his Manager Darran Weston are able to supply bikes from economy range to “super” bikes for professionals.

The centre hopes to start a loyalty club as well as helping customers save for that special bike via a Christmas/Savings Club.
