Jamie Mullis (32) and his wife Michelle (31) have completed their epic journey by motorbike from Newton Aycliffe to Australia. They are currently touring there and are coming back by plane on Saturday 20th August.
They have a website, a blog and Facebook page, carrying details of their journey with photos etc. (http://www.notadestination.co.uk). Jaime lived in Aycliffe all his life. His wife is from Trimdon originally, and the couple lived here before taking off on their adventure.
