ACE formerly GACAP, had its final meeting for the year on Monday in their new home at the big club.
There were a lot of regular faces and a few new. The meeting was brief, other than explaining the new roles of the treasurer. Geoff Batchelor took over as Chairman from Ron Mitchie, who had side-stepped himself and is assuming the post of Assistant Secretary which Peter Driver relinquished from, Joan Mitchie remains as treasurer.
Joan shared with the meeting that she was working on a number of different funding bids in the hope of spring boarding ACE into a more active role in the community. The meeting left plenty of time for networking and partaking of festive nibbles.
ACE resume their meetings on Monday 4th February with Samantha Scotchbrook from Advice County Durham the first speaker in the New Year.
