Newton Aycliffe Youth FC, an FA Charter Standard Community Club, are continually improving the skills of their volunteer coaches. In conjunction with Durham FA, 14 volunteer coaches from the club attended a Youth Module 1 course throughout January. This course is aimed specifically at coaches working with the 5-16 yr old. Head Coach Mick Hay commented, “This course gave us the tools and skills to coach children of all ages and differing abilities. The children want coaching sessions that are fun and enjoyable and this course has given us lots of new ideas”.
