Members and friends of the Aycliffe and District Bus Preservation Society took time out for a Christmas lunch at Walworth Castle last week. Travelling in vintage style but well wrapped up, the party used the Heartbeat Bus. The day finished at Locomotion, Shildon, to view the refurbishment of Churchill’s funeral coach which is to go on display at York NRM in January 2015 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Winston Churchill.
