Founded in 1994, the idea of four Newtonians, two of whom are still current members, the Branch was formed in order to provide affordable travel for Sunderland Supporters to all of Sunderland AFC home games and suitable away games.
This year is our 25th Anniversary and we are still going strong with the same aims, travelling around, supporting the team and having a good time while doing so. We are a Branch with an excellent reputation within the Sunderland Football Community and we work closely with Officials at Sunderland Football Club to ensure that our members get exclusive insights, deals and opportunities.
The Branch meets every first Thursday of the month at The Phoenix Club, Newton Aycliffe at 8.00pm, the next meeting is on Thursday 1st August 2019. All current members and anyone else expressing an interest are most welcome.
Membership is £6 for the Season. Home bus fares are currently £9 for adults and £7 for under 18’s.
Members enjoy discounted fares at the rate of £7 for adults and £5 for under 18’s with senior citizens (members who are over 65) receiving a double discounted fare down to £5.

Our opening match of the 2019/20 league season is at home to Oxford United on Saturday 3rd August 2019, KO 3.00pm and the bus will leave The Phoenix Club as usual at 12.00noon.
Demand for seats is expected to be high and the committee wishes to remind the membership to confirm or book their seats early through Peter Cairns our Transport Officer, to avoid disappointment.
