Winner of the EMMA Award for Best Comedienne, Ria Lina has been entertaining both UK and international audiences for over a decade with her dry wit and the occasional song. Using her charm and intelligence to get away with anything from the most audacious routines to subtle wordplay, Ria is a popular headline act at clubs around the world.

Ria’s talents have also been in demand in television, with her writing and acting in the ITV2 comedy sketch show Meet the Blogs, as well as writing and presenting her own documentary for Channel 4 revealing the truth behind the myths that surround oriental women in Britain.

Phil Chapman, originally from Middlesbrough, and now living in Liverpool, via Reading and Texas, began performing comedy at a local Chinese restaurant! He was asked to leave soon into the performance, such was the reaction of the crowd – a rapturous round of applause and he decided to pursue a career via more conventional means.

He continued performing around the North of England, where he placed second in many comedy competitions. Given his consistency, and undeterred by his near brushes with success, he decided to carry on performing and has now established himself as a regular in many clubs around the country, and he is renowned for his ability to win over any audience.

Winner of the 2013 Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year competition, Freddy Quinne’s uniquely northern observational humour has seen a meteoric rise into some of the biggest clubs in the country. Quinne couples clever, well placed gags” together with a vulnerable persona for a unique experience which combines to make a real tour de force performance.

In 2014 Freddy was MC for the late show for the Big Value Show at the Edinburgh Fringe, one of the most prestigious showcases at the festival, and he returned to the Fringe in 2015, where he hosted the AAA Comedy Showcase at the Pleasance Courtyard. He also MC’d a showcase for online magazine and comedy reviewers The Skinny, as part of the Liverpool Comedy Festival, and he currently acts as a resident MC for over half a dozen comedy nights across the country as well as regularly compering some of the biggest comedy venues in the UK, including Frog & Bucket, and Just the Tonic.
