Greenfield Arts are delighted to announce their new autumn programme packed full of creativity and imagination with activities, events and projects for all ages.
We are hosting a series of exhibitions that will inspire activities and offer the chance to enjoy a range of wonderful artwork. The gallery season opens with an exhibition by professional photographer and artist Elaine Vizor, ‘With or Without. An exciting venture that showcases artwork produced ‘with or without’ a camera. Elaine’s work demonstrates different ways of capturing light and will inspire a cyanotype workshop and a unique opportunity to explore night light photography.
A little later in the year Creative Forum, a self-led community artist group supported by artist Sharron Bates will be showcasing their artwork. The group meets each Friday at Greenfield and the exhibition ‘Emerging’ will showcase their creativity during lockdown and reflect the varied work of the group including batik, monoprint, collage and textile art.
Free opportunities for young people will make sure our young creatives have opportunities to be curious, learn new skills and make something amazing to take home. We are once again being a part of The Big Draw, making that change and encouraging a love of drawing and creativity.
Our popular courses include Spanish and Yoga and this season we are extending our offer of yoga to young people, suitable for 7+, this four-week course offers the chance to learn relaxing techniques, build confidence, strength and flexibility.
