Rose Lodge Care Home on Carer’s Way, Cobblers Lane, Newton Aycliffe have always prided themselves on being part of the local community and were delighted to support our NHS colleagues for the 8.00pm round of applause for on Thursday 26th March.
Our residents asked if we could have a sign outside the home so that the NHS workers knew how much they meant to us and how much we appreciated all they are doing for the community and our loved ones and a sign was created.
At 8.00pm all of our residents and staff of Rose Lodge clapped from the home and a few staff stood outside and were joined by our friends at the Co-op shop across the road, showing huge support for our community of key workers, NHS staff and carers.
