Ron Hogg, Durham Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has launched the second round of this year’s Community Safety Fund, available to partners and organisations, including the voluntary and community sector.
Applications of up to £20,000 will be considered that support the PCC’s policing priorities, including:
• To tackle anti-social behaviour
• To tackle the harm caused to communities by alcohol and drugs
• To reduce the impact of domestic abuse
• To reduce the impact of hate crime
• To improve road safety
Mr Hogg said: “My Community Safety Fund is now open for bids and application forms can be downloaded from my website www.durham-pcc.gov.uk or by calling my office on 03000 264629.
“I particularly encourage bids for this round from the voluntary and community sector and all applications must be received by Monday 1st September 2014.”
