Dear Sir,
Re photo published of police car in last week’s issue. I believe the parking bay the police vehicle is parked in, while immediately adjacent to the disabled bays, is not restricted.
It is disappointing that negative and inflammatory comments can be made without the simplest of facts being confirmed. I would fully support the reader and photographer, had the constabulary used a restricted bay as I firmly believe these bays should only be used by those they are intended.
However on this occasion I believe both the photographer and the Newton News have done our ‘boys in blue’ a huge disservice in publishing incorrect information.
