Heighington continued to grow its reputation as the Midsomer of the North East last Saturday night at the annual Murder Mystery event in the Village Hall.
The two murders were quickly solved by Inspector Nohope of the local constabulary and various teams came close despite the numerous red herrings with the “SparTen” successfully solved the mystery.
The event was a fundraiser to help upgrade the Church facilities to make the building more community friendly and the £805 raised was supported by Barclays Bank with a further £750 donation from its Community Fund. A profitable and enjoyable night was had by all.
Many thanks to all the helpers, actors and to Barclays Bank, but especially to our audience for their generosity and for fully entering into the spirit of the evening.
