The parish of Great Aycliffe will be shortly holding their annual memorial service for all of our town’s people. This year it will be held on Sunday December 2nd at St. Clare’s Church in the town centre at 4.00pm.
All are warmly invited to come along to this short service of prayer’s and carols. There will be the opportunity to light a small candle in memory of any of your loved ones no matter how long ago they passed on. Also you can hang a glitter star on our Advent tree with your own personal message on it, and both of these are free of charge, but you can make a donation if you wish too.
The church memorial book will be open for you to view, and if you wish to place your loved ones name in this, there is a charge of £25 which lasts for ever.
Please do come along and join in this very special service to remember your loved ones at Christmas, and do stay for light refreshments after the service. Looking forward so much to seeing you there, come early to place your loved ones name on our list as this is read out during the service.
