The programme for the annual Community Christmas Concert is filling up with participation by local schools including Vane Road, Woodham Burn, Byerley Park, Sugar Hill, Greenfield College, Woodham Academy, Horndale and Aycliffe Village.
The Concert organised by the town’s Rotary Club will be held in the main hall at the Leisure Centre on Tuesday 12th December from 1pm – 2.30pm and everyone is invited. Admission is free and it is hoped people will bring along their elderly neighbours to enjoy this Pre-Christmas community event.
The schoolchildren always sing with great enthusiasm and lift the hearts of the audience. Also included is Dancing and Gymnastics by the senior schools, while in between the school performances, the audience sing popular Christmas Carols and songs.
