Great Aycliffe Town Council are joining  up with the Durham County Council walk leaders to offer an easy access 4 mile walk around part of the Aycliffe Way on Wednesday 8th July beginning at Aycliffe train station at 11am.
The route will follow the path of the Aycliffe Way through West Park and Woodham Burn before visiting other attractions such as Bluebell wood and Byerley Park Local Nature Reserve.
The walk should take approximately two hours at a gentle pace.  Participants are asked to bring a small snack and refreshments and to wear suitable footwear. For more information please contact Great Aycliffe Town Councils Environment Officer on 0777 9090 842.
