Rose Lodge Care Home on Carers Way, Cobblers Lane, Newton Aycliffe recently completed a fundraising walk in support of the Alzheimers Society. The staff at Rose Lodge met outside the home and walked along the five mile Great Aycliffe Walk to raise money as part of the Alzheimers Memory Walk.
They all had such a lovely day, which took a few hours, and they even met up with one of our residents part way through, with her son, which was a lovely surprise to the walkers. Rose Lodge would like to say a huge thank you to all who supported and donated to this cause, we raised £165 from the home for the Society
