A lady was hit by a car as she crossed the road at Emmerson Way last Friday. The Air Ambulance was requested to attend by NEAS and landed on the Iron Horse Carpark. The lady sustained serious head, chest and injuries to her abdomen, she was treated at the scene by the Doctor led trauma team before being flown to James Cook Hospital where her condition was said to be stable.
