The start of the revamped Youth Club based at Agnew Community Centre in Morrison Close, on Friday 14th September at 6pm to 7-30pm was a success story as 20 young people aged from 7 to 11 years attended.
The cost of £1 + any spending money for tuck will go back into providing facilities for the young people as all of the youth workers are volunteers from the Xcel Church. The Agnew Community Committee do not charge for the use of the building. James Ross who is the senior worker says “there is still room for more young people and the first visit is Free. Parents are urged to bring their children and see for themselves the people, facilities and atmosphere at these safe and productive sessions”.
