Last week saw the first meeting of the Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership at the Agnew Community Centre where they will now be permanently based.
We will work together to achieve our aim of  building an extension to provide another foodbank for Aycliffe, with a distribution point and hub for the welfare of disadvantaged people.
Last Thursday we held a Management/Trustee’s meeting and welcomed Joan Clark aboard as a new Trustee. We are delighted to have Joan with us, who has the much needed skills to do Marketing & PR for the Agnew Centre and the community it serves.
This along with her people skills will enable us to grow as a Community Organisation and Joan has already brought a much needed project for this Town which she will announce later. Joan is also Secretary of GACAP we feel  we have added an important appointment to our team.
