Sedgefield Racecourse is due to host a Gents Day on Friday 7th April. The Raceday is proven to be one of the busiest racedays of the year with ticket sales flying out.
Guests at the racecourse will have the chance to enjoy seven live races at Sedgefield, teamed with televised action from Aintree via a large screen at the course. The day will get started at 12:10pm with the first race at 2.10pm and live entertainment from The Gangsters of Ska after racing.
Due to growing demand, a Carvery package has been introduced offering racegoers admission into the hospitality suite, two course carvery and racecard.
Jill Williamson, Executive Director at Sedgefield Racecourse, added: “We’re thrilled to be able to host this fixture to coincide with Aintree, offering guests a day of racing which proves to be very popular with racing fans and those looking for something to do.
“It is a great opportunity for people who unfortunately cannot attend Aintree to come racing locally and enjoy the atmosphere. The afternoon will be topped off with live music from The Gangsters of Ska after racing.”
