On Tuesday 3rd of January a group of 75 people of mixed ages came along to enjoy the hilarious Jack and The Beanstalk Pantomime at the Gala Theatre in Durham City. There were giggles galore as children, parents and grandparents enjoyed the antics being performed on the stage although the use of a water hose to soak the crowd brought on squeals of laughter and delight.
With a selection box handed to all on the return trip a great time was had by all. ACORN Residents Association funded by the Big Lottery fund have been taking groups to the panto in ever increasing numbers since their formation in 2012. As we come towards the end of another successful year and look forward to new ventures in 2017 I would like to thank our members and committee without whom our endeavours would not be the great triumphs which we enjoy Ken Robson Chairman ACORN Residents Association
