I read with interest the “nursing course application” letter dated 23rd July issue.
How times have become so difficult and complicated – speaking to a lot of young girls and young men I meet.
No wonder so many would love to be able to train on the wards in basic bedside care.
Whatever happened to SENs (State Enrolled Nurses) or the Cadet Nurses?
Sister and staff nurses with excellent standards, even dress codes, team work and comradeship, the order of this very worthy profession.
