Aycliffe Village Year 6 celebrated leaving the school on Tuesday 19th July. Sue Cutler and Danielle Mcalpine parents of Malana and William organised the event. ROF 59 and Club Cruizer was booked and Yearbooks, a new idea this year as a memento of Class of 2016, was kindly and thoughtfully designed and printed by our very own Newton Press. The students had a fantastic evening. Laila and Sian said is it was “The best day of their lives” and “the boys had a blast”. A parent wrote “You have done an absolutely amazing job – well done ladies”. Another wrote “Thanks Sue & Danielle for all the organising you have done – the kids’ screams when they got on the bus said it all!” Appreciation to all parents and the school for their support in making this event so special. We are pleased it all came together and everyone had fun. It was all about making memories with their school friends and making the night an evening to remember as they begin their next new chapter in their chosen secondary school.
