Dear Sir,
I first heard of the charity ‘Helping Hands’ through my daughter. I was desperately trying to cope with everyday life with paying the bills and even buying basic food items.
Alwyn and Linzi were amazing, they helped me with household items and even gave me sound advice and it was all done in a friendly and compassionate way.
From there I started to attend Life Church and I’m so glad that I did as it was so uplifting. I made new friends and this was something I desperately needed as at the time I was at home caring for my beloved terminally ill husband around the clock!! My Life Church family were with me all the way and I found I was able to relax there and it was a place to share my ups and downs and there were certainly a few downs!
Like most people, I still struggle with certain issues in my life but knowing that leaders from Life Church are only a phone call away helps me tremendously I really shudder to think where my life would be now had I not got the help I needed!
