Dear Sir,
When my son died suddenly I was faced with a funeral bill for which I wasn’t prepared. I found it difficult to get help, as he wasn’t a dependant. When I’d almost reached the end of my tether, I called the “Helping Hands” charity number 07936 431262.
I was given an appointment and the people who helped me dealt with me sensitively and said that because of my financial situation I was able to receive help. I was given household packs that really relieved me because having received these everyday items meant that I was able to concentrate on tackling my debts.
I am so grateful to the charity because of the help I received and feel that I can now begin to move on with my life.”
Grateful, Aycliffe.
Project Manager, Alwyn White, said “we do not want anyone to suffer in silence, Helping Hands is here to help those in financial crisis. People often say that there are people worse off than them when in fact they so very much need the help we can offer. Please don’t hesitate to phone the charity helpline.
