On Thursday the 27th of June Aycliffe Village Primary School held a Summer Fair to raise funds for the PTA.
The fun began with Tommy Bungle and friends entertaining the children on the yard and despite the poor weather the Army Paintball, Tea Cup ride and a visit from the Fire Engine proved a big hit. There were many different stall holders selling their items which ranged from pirate themed items from Captain Raggy Beard for the children to Aloe Vera, Nail Products and Jewellery for the adults so there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Face painting and glitter tattoos proved popular with the children as well as the Penalty Shoot Out game. The kitchen sold refreshments including snack plates and hotdogs along with sweets and hot and cold drinks.
All items on the children, adult and mufti tombola along with a raffle were donated to the school and raised a massive amount of money. Thank you to everyone who helped and attended the fair which raised approximately £800!
