Five Acres Community Garden have just received a wonderful donation from Lesley Newton after her epic Great North Run. This great lady raised £1080.00 following her half marathon – all at Five Acres would like to thank Lesley and the money raised will go towards the purchase of an outdoor work area. THANK YOU!!!
Brian Nichol popped in too and awarded Five Acres £200 – as you all know Brian is a fantastic ambassador for our town and is always giving donations to Community Groups – this donation is greatly appreciated. Our Champions would like to thank you for your amazing work. Well done.
Also pictured here is Brian Nichol and Bill Cooksey, who celebrated his 101st Birthday recently. Brian popped along to take a few pictures of Bills special day and has produced a wonderful album as a memento for Bill to treasure. Bill would like to thank Brian for such a lovely keepsake.
