Great Aycliffe Tidy Team’s most recent activity was a litter pick and cutting back of bushes along the Woodham Way from Wolsey Close towards Woodham Academy.
It was great to notice that there was less rubbish than previous visits to this area, thanks, in no small part, to another organised pick by young people from one of the town’s churches. In fact there are many great people around Newton Aycliffe quietly getting on with keeping their own areas litter free.
There’s still always plenty to do though, and GATT are incredibly lucky to have team mascot ‘Tidy Ted’ pointing out any litter we’ve missed and cheering us on!
