Scarlet Whitaker Dunn, aged 11, has now graduated from Aycliffe Village Primary School and is really looking forward to starting her journey at secondary school.
On her second time on the Teesside track in three years, and with the older Dunlop SL2 tyres, Scarlet managed a 49.72 second lap time, 4 seconds quicker than her last time on track.
“I’m so impressed with how quickly Scarlet is adjusting to the faster Honda Cadet 200cc kart and how fast her times are improving” said Mam, “Scarlet listens well to advice and is quick to adapt this into her driving!”
“It felt so good to greatly improve my lap time and can’t wait to see what I can do next time out” grinned Scarlet.
“What a joy to watch someone so young getting real enjoyment, driving faster and faster, even in an old kart with out of date SL2 tyres on, the best is still to come” stated Grandad Ron.
