The House of Eden Nursery are holding their Summer Fair on Saturday 29 June, 10am – 1pm. Lots of activities will be taking place at the Pioneering Care Centre in Newton Aycliffe, where they are based, including a bouncy castle, family games, tombola and cake stall.
Jan Hooper, Senior Nursery Manager is getting her hair chopped on the day to benefit children who have lost their hair through illness such as cancer.
Zoe Burleigh’s child attends the nursery and is the chosen one to cut at least 7 inches off Jan’s hair, which will be donated to the Little Princess Charity and will be used to make a wig for a child. Jan is also looking for sponsors to make a synthetic wig as well as donating her hair so 2 children will benefit. Anyone wishing to offer sponsorship should contact Jan at the House of Eden, Pioneering Care Centre.
The House of Eden Nursery provide day care facilities from birth to 4½ years and offer before/after school care and a holiday club for children up to the age of 12 years.
