Pat Lerigo Secretary for 26 years and Dr. Peter Ramsay, 25 years a GP, had a joint Retirement Party at the Bewick Crescent Surgery last week.
Senior Partner Dr. Robert McKinty presented a TV, jewellery and flowers to Pat and an iPhone and Coffee Maker to his colleague.
The function was attended by former GP partners who recruited Dr. Ramsay and previous staff receptionists, district nurses and health visitors.
Dr Ramsay thanked the staff at Bewick Crescent, the community nursing team, and the new pharamacy staff under Robert Pitt who now share a new relationship.
Everyone enjoyed a BBQ in the garden with lovely weather and both Pat and Peter said how much they had enjoyed their time at Bewick Crescent and through Newton News send a fond farewell to all patients.
