Local children’s charity ‘Fishing With Tom’ are to host three full day events in aid of Fishing For Forces. The dates are 25th June, 2nd and 9th July all at West House Trout Lakes in the village of Bishopton TS21 1LL which will be sign posted on the day
We will be fundraising one day for members of the forces who have lost their sight in conflict and two days for returning members of the forces from active duty.
These events will cost around £1000 to organise and we need help:
We are looking to all Fly Anglers who can give their time on any of these days to come forward to help. We also need twenty mentors who can assist the injured personnel. Secondly we need funds and it is a lot to ask of people these days, but this is our chance to give something back to those who have given so much for us and asked for nothing in return.
