PLAY CAFÉ in Newton Aycliffe has been supporting children and parents during school closures by making available Schooling Packs.
We have a limited number of packs to offer and are especially helpful for children from 4 to 7 years of age who have difficulty learning online or using worksheets and need other resources to express their thoughts and record learning.
Early stages / delayed reading and writing skills can lead to terrible frustration and lack of any engagement.
Family support workers who know of families struggling in these circumstances may request a pack.
