Dear Sir,
I live on Travellers Green, opposite the new Tolent building site. This week I watched as sludge was being pumped from the building site onto the public grass area.
When I spoke to the site manager, his response was that “the water was clean”. I have attached a photo of the ‘clean’ water.
This site is very disruptive to the surrounding homes, especially the roads which are thick with mud as well as the vehicles turning the grass verges into a mess. My main concern is the pumping of the sludge on to public grassed areas.
