The Men’s Cree group at Greenfield Arts have been reflecting on how we see the world working alongside visual artist Bethan Maddocks. Bethan is a paper sculptor and her work is often centred around a question or a story.
The workshop was part of a bigger project ‘Finders, Seekers’ which will look at new possibilities and reflect the work and thoughts of groups such as Cree and students at Greenfield Community College culminating in an exhibition to be shared with the wider community.
The group were sent a creative pack which included creative materials and a ‘question lightbulb’, they were asked poignant questions such as “What things can help people think differently”, “what is the best question you’ve ever been asked” and “what change would you like to wake up to tomorrow”.
Creative Director, Katy Milne, said “This is such a brilliant creative collaboration. These creative conversations allow an exchange between everyone that helps us to reflect. These ideas will inform and shape the Finders, Seekers exhibition which will be on display in the Greenfield Gallery from January 2021”
