Dear Sir,
I totally agree with the letter on Page 11 of the last edition of the Newton News.
I live in Agnew 1 and every day I hear dogs barking between 7.30am on a morning and as late as 8.00pm on a night. I too am fed up of hearing the same dogs day in and day out.
It appears that when the weather has stopped raining, the dogs are put out into the garden and left for hours to make a noise.
I know that most owners these days don’t take their dogs for walks, most animals don’t even get past the garden gate.
With having to work from home due to the covid-19 lockdown, I open my windows to let in some fresh air, but often have to close them due to the constant barking noise.
When I do find out where those dogs do live, I will take the appropriate action of complaining to either Livin or Durham County Council.
Yes, I do love dogs as well, but come on, look after your pets more.
