The Coronavirus outbreak presents everyone with challenges, and we wanted you to know that all of us here at NEFirst Credit Union hope you and your family are safe and well during these unprecedented times.
We’re closely monitoring the developing situation and wanted to let you know we are open for business (within social distancing guidelines) with our face to face contact with members by appointment only. As always, the safety of our members and colleagues remain our number one priority and we are here to help.
We continue to work hard to maintain services for you and to develop new ways to help you manage the financial impact. We understand many of you may be experiencing some financial challenges at this time due to the coronavirus and the impact that it is having on everyday lives, so we would like to let you know of two new loan products we have at the moment that you may find helpful to yourself and your family.
Family Loans – INSTANT LOAN (up to £500.00)
Our ‘Family Loans’ allow all families/individuals in receipt of child benefit to have a loan of up to £500 from the Credit Union. This will be conditional upon child benefit being paid directly into your account with the Credit Union. We will not perform a credit check; however, bank statements will be requested for an affordability check.
Example – £500.00 x 12 months @ £50.23 – Total payable = £602.66
Payroll Deduction – £500.00 INSTANT Loans
To qualify for an instant loan you must already be paying into your NEFirst Credit Union account by payroll deduction through your employer.
We will not perform a credit check or request recent bank statements in this instance.
Example – £500.00 x 12 months @ £50.23 – Total payable = £602.66
