There has been a noticeable decline and lack of standards since the loss of Sedgefield Borough when the County Council took on so many towns and spreading themselves so thin.
Not just myself, but many people I have spoken to, say this is now so.
About two months ago I phoned a department describing in detail the exact area, at a bus stop next to Rose Lodge Care Home. Piles of rubbish, tin cans and cartons as well as other rubbish in the ditch behind. Two weeks later and it is all still there. So I phoned once more, but still the rubbish is still there.
I get the feeling, like others who make complaints, that they have no intention of acting, I feel these officials need a good shake up and get their act together. There are a lot of areas like this on our town.
