“Everything must go – Huge Clearance Sale
A final clearance sale of the stock from Honest John’s unit will take place on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March between 12noon and 4.00pm.
John’s friends and volunteers have offered their time on the above days to man the shop and sell the remaining stock on behalf of John to help cover the final rent payment and to cover the commitments currently on the books.
The idea was mooted for another organisation to take over the running of the charity and maintain the name of Honest John as a legacy to the work John has achieved over the last 12 years. However, it was decided to have a final clearance sale and bring this fantastic fundraising era to an end.
All items will be marked as £1.00 each including tea sets, bric-a-brac, pots, pans, cutlery, collectables and table ware – there are thousands of items, come and grab a bargain or two.
Larger goods such as tables, display cabinets, antique and china cabinets, collapsible tables, shelving units, dining chairs and corner units will be priced from £5.00.
All cash raised over this weekend clearance sale will be donated to Honest John’s Community Kitty for final payment commitments next month.
John said “Over three afternoons in one weekend I promise how little you will have to spend. Idea for car booters, ebayers, collectors and more. Your eyes will be amazed as you walk through the door, I am not kidding”.
John told Newton News how overwhelmed and thankful he was with all the messages, cards and good wishes he has received.
