The North East’s very own gospel choir the Voices of Virtue are set for the biggest concert to date this Easter and its coming to the XCEL Centre Newton Aycliffe!
On April 11th 2020 Voices of Virtue will bring you a night of gospel music, featuring strings, dance and beautiful vocal harmonies that will leave you inspired, lifted and full of joy. Our Good News Easter Presentation promises to be uplifting, enjoyable and inspirational. The audience are in for a real treat and this is one show you do not want to miss!!!
The Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir comprise of singers and instrumentalists drawn from churches across the north east.
The choir has performed for Prince William during his visit to the North East and have also performed with Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Sting. Alongside these great experiences we have had the privilege to sing at the Speakers Rooms in the Houses of Parliament and are regarded as one of the North’s leading gospel choirs.
Our existence is beyond the musical performances, but also to Impact lives, inspire change, foster unity and bring joy through the good news that gospel music brings, whether through our performances or at our workshops in schools and prisons. We are passionate about the gospel music genre and hope to make it a significant part of the soundscape in the North East of England.
As a result Voices of Virtue formed the NE-ONE Community Choir, NE-ONE community choir who will be performing alongside Voices of Virtue on Saturday 11th April 2020.
The event we are advertising is the Good News Easter Presentation in the uncharted waters of Newton Aycliffe where we hope to inspire a taste and love for gospel music. Our audience has heard us sing soul, they’ve heard us sing civil rights and spirituals and it’s time to hear us sing Gospel the very DNA of Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir. So we are delighted to present the Good News Easter presentation concert on 11th of April 2020 at the XCEL Centre in Newton Aycliffe at 7.00pm where Voices of Virtue will also showcase the growing NE-ONE Community Choir an arm of Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir which is open to anyone who loves to sing and would love to explore gospel music.
