Enough! Please, Alastair P. Welsh, put your pen down, cease the ranting and concentrate on the day job.
Your latest letter is typical of the muddled thinking you have been sharing with us for far too long. On the one hand, you berate the “Church leaders” for having opinions and say this is no longer “a matter for political meddling”. In the next breath you say they should “require” bells to ring out. Please!!
We no longer require your opinion on these matters…they are settled and we have elected representatives to deal with our future path. We do not require un-elected members of the public to explain what has happened and what will happen; we are all, including you, entitled to our own view.
