We are a small group of friendly, enthusiastic Amateur Astronomers who meet at the new Bishop Auckland Community Fire Station (DL14 6RS) every month.
Next meeting is 6th February from 7-9pm.
Our speaker is Dr. Ryan Cooke, Durham University. He will be giving a talk on “The First Stars”.
If you are interested in becoming a member, whether you are just starting out, or an experienced observer, you will find a warm welcome.
We offer FREE annual membership, with a nominal fee on the door. We have high spec speakers most of the time, specialising in their own field of interest.
Also, the Society holds regular Observing sessions at our dark site. Please come along and see for yourself.
