On Monday 29th April Honest John opens his fundraising stall in “The Cubby” after the management committee kindly offered him space. John will operate Monday to Friday from 10am – 3pm and Saturdays 10am until 4pm. He will be closed on Tuesday, but will be found on the town Centre market as usual.
John hopes the move to the Cubby will be more convenient for donors to hand in their unwanted goods.
The extra trading days will no doubt increase John’s sales and he will be making more money for town orgnaisations.
John told Newton News he is very much looking forward to selling goods from his new permanent “shop”.
Honest John receives the keys to the Cubby from Chairman Bill Blenkinsop watched by Manager Sally Symons and Treasurer David Lewis.
