Newton Aycliffe Karate Club Students hard work paid off this month after passing their grading examinations. The students, ranging in age from 6 years old to 30 plus, were assessed for technical ability, spirit and fitness. Khaled, Safaa, Abdhul, Ben and Adam all passing 5th Mon 1 Yellow Tag, Thomas passing 4th Mon 2 Yellow Tags, Jamilla and Kimberley passing 2nd Mon, 2 Orange Tags. Izabela, Marina, Hadiya, Samantha and Christopher all passing 1st Mon Red Belt, George passing 8th Kyu Yellow Belt.
Rhys passing 7th Kyu Orange Belt and Sean passing 6th Kyu Green Belt.
Anyone six years up interested in taking up karate can come along to our sessions in the new year, starting Tuesday 7th January at 7.00pm in Newton Aycliffe Youth & Community Centre. Sessions are also held on Thursdays from 6.30pm.
