On Tuesday morning, Byerley Park Primary School invited KS1 parents to come and enjoy our Harvest Festival. To start the performance, the Reception children sang ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’. Then all of KS1 stood up and sang ‘Autumn Leaves’. After, the Year 1 children performed a play called ‘The Enormous Turnip’. When Year 1 had finished their fabulous performance, the Year Two children said some things about the harvest. They called it ‘What is Harvest?’ To finish the performance off, all of KS1 performed ‘Thank You God for the Harvest’. All of the school donated to Newton Aycliffe Food Bank. We would like to give a special thank you to Vicky Bain and Catherine Halford for helping us donate all of the food to the food bank.
