Thomas Sharp, and his plans for Durham City in the 1940s.
The New Season begins on Thursday 10th October at 7.30pm in Middridge Village Hall.
Dorothy Hamilton will give an intriguing insite into a man, born in Bishop Auckland, who was to become famous as a major national influence on the development of ideas of townscapes, as well as being the most widely read author on the subject of town planning.
His plan for Durham City is very interesting in the light of what is happening at present.
Everyone is very welcome and refreshments will be provided.
