Many thanks to everyone including our Town Mayor, Councillor Mrs Mary Dalton and Consort Councillor Mrs Val Raw, who came to support our Macmillan Coffee Morning, it was a fantastic event, which was held inside Bethany Court on Friday 20th September 2019.
The cakes were amazing and tasted delicious! The tombola was fun! All raffle prizes were claimed on the day.
We couldn’t have done it without all those who organised and dedicated their time, including the many bakers, who filled the tables with decorated cakes, savoury pies, quiches, sausage rolls and freshly made bread buns as well as preparing and serving hot drinks.
You were all fabulous!
Special thanks to the residents living at Bethany House Nursing Home for preparing the tombola prizes.
Throughout 2019, we have held several events for this worthy cause and in total we have raised £1125.00.
