Toddlers Group: Tuesday and Friday morning 9.30am until 1.00pm. Just drop in to the Western Area Community Centre, Silverdale Place, mothers/fathers/grandparents are welcome to bring their young children to play whilst the adults can have a chat, a cup of tea and the toddlers can meet new friends. We also have a Children’s Disco Friday nights from 4.30pm until 8.00pm.
New Pathways Together. Following on from our 11 year old, ‘New Friends New Places’ group success, we would like to welcome older gentlemen to a weekly club to meet other people. Loneliness is a very difficult situation to be in for whatever reason so please take the first steps to overcome this.
For the first visits we can pick you up. We also welcome people with long term illnesses such as Dementia, MS, etc. to come with their carers and enjoy a chat and a cup of tea.
This group was activated in 2015 and was successful but because of refurbishment to the centre by livin we had to wait to start again. A big return welcome to you all.
