Following on from their recent success performing School of Rock and Grease, Woodham Academy are delighted to be launching their Performing Arts Academy next year. This will be open to all students within the school and will give them the opportunity to take part in sessions for stage and set design, sound and lighting, instrumental skills and drama.
The stage and set design sessions are open to students with an interest in art and textiles. Students will be tasked with creating the staging, props and costumes for the various performances that happen throughout the year. They will also design and create all merchandise and promotional material for the Performing Arts Academy’s debut performance of High School Musical.
