Dear Sir,
These are very exciting times for the Helping Hands Team and we are sure you share our hope to see many more people in our local community reached with practical help to those facing financial crisis. We are so encouraged by the generosity of people like you that we have already met.
The Helping Hands Project is asking Newton News readers who have a wardrobe bulging with clothes that they seldom wear to be invited to ‘spring clean your wardrobe’ and donate new/nearly new children and adults clothing to our charity.
Helping Hands project support Families and individuals in crisis where members have lost their jobs, are struggling to pay basic living costs or have other personal circumstances that leave them in need of our support.
We are sure you will be as moved as we were when you read just one of the messages we received this week “I don’t know how to thank you all. When I got home and saw what was in the boxes I cried. As the saying goes – so there is light at the end of the tunnel”
With your help we envisage the Helping Hands project will support 300 families in 2013 and already we are well on our way to meeting that target.
If you would like to donate your new/nearly new clothing to the Helping Hands project then please ring 07936431262 for us to arrange collection.
Alternatively, if you are reading this and need our help then please ring the same number.
We look forward to keeping you up to date with the progress we are making through the Newton News
Thank you in advance for your support.
